DePaul University's Actuarial Summer Academy is a week-long college immersion program for high school students who are talented and interested in math. Students in this program will have the opportunity to get instruction and hands-on experience in data analysis with tools like Excel -- skills used everyday by actuaries. Actuaries are highly-paid professionals who use math extensively to help businesses, governments, and individuals manage risk. In addition to getting instruction from DePaul University professors of actuarial science, students will meet several actuaries currently working for a variety of companies. These actuaries will speak with the students about the work that they do and offer career advice. The program will be offered from July 17-21.* Required
