    Student Center

The Student Center at DePaul houses a number of different things inside - student dining, Office of Student Involvement, This is the Student Center at DePaul and you’ll find a number of different things inside - student dining, Office of Student Involvement, the St Louise Chapel, the Interfaith Space, and the Office for Multicultural Student Success. Over the course of a year, a variety of events will typically be held in this building. On the second floor is our main dining hall in Lincoln Park - Create. There are a couple of meal plan options available that give you a certain amount of meals per week and flex dollars to spend per quarter. There are a variety of options within the food court or you can grab something quick from Brownstone’s downstairs, or one of The Bean Caffe locations.

    The Quad

The Quad is the heart of our Lincoln Park Campus. It’s our big green space here. When the weather is nice, the Quad gets really active. Some people like to just sit out here and hang out with friends, while others might take advantage of the weather and study outside. In a typical year we host both the Fall Involvement Fair and Fest out on the Quad. The Involvement Fair is great to find out about student clubs and organizations to help find your community at DePaul. Fest is an annual student-run music festival. Performers in past years have included Lil Yachty, T-Pain, Childish Gambino, and many others.

    Richardson Library

The Richardson Library is more than just a place to study. There are a lot of really great resources that the library has to offer. It has computers available to use that are loaded with any software you’ll need for your classes, the reference desk can help you with any of your research needs, printer access, tutoring services, and even a creative space up on the second floor. If you’re just coming here to get work done, the first two floors are great for collaboration and working together, while the top two floors are better for quiet study time. Also, if you need tech support for your own laptop, phone or tablet, the university’s Genius Squad can help you for free.

    Ray Meyer Fitness Center

The Ray Meyer Fitness Center is the home of all things campus recreation. Access to the Ray is completely free for students. That’s for your entire time at DePaul regardless of if you live on or off campus. The Ray is outfitted with a lot of amenities and is a great place to take your mind off classes. The Ray has a pool, exercise equipment, courts for sports like basketball or volleyball, and there’s also a track on the fourth floor which has a great view of the city. There are also intramurals, club sports, and fitness classes. Also, we have one of our Bean locations where you can grab something quick to eat or drink before or after a workout.

    Schmitt Academic Center

The Schmitt Academic Center, commonly known as SAC, is one of our academic buildings at DePaul. It is home to one of the largest student lounge spaces on campus - The Pit, a place where you can meet with friends, maybe get some studying done, or grab a quick snack or coffee at The Bean, our on campus coffee shop. Surrounding the Pit are some of our most utilized student services like DePaul Central, the Career Center and the Office of Academic Advising Support. DePaul Central is your one stop shop for financial aid and other student records. The Career Center will help you with all aspects of finding your perfect internship or job after graduation. Head up one floor to visit the Writing Center. You’ll meet with tutors who help you draft, revise or polish your writing. The Schmitt Academic Center is all about services to help you succeed as a student.

    Arts & Letters Hall

Arts and Letters Hall is one of the more recent additions to the Lincoln Park Campus. Built in 2011 and dedicated primarily to instructional space, it features 47 state-of-the-art classrooms. Several on the 4th floor include a view of the downtown skyline. Many of the rooms are designed to foster a more personal connection. While we do have some larger classes on campus, the typical class is small with an average student to faculty ratio of 16 to 1. This means you’ll get to know your professors and your classmates. Just outside the classrooms, you’ll find lounge areas on all four floors to take advantage of between classes. And on a nice day, find a spot on the patio to study or relax with friends.

    Ozanam Hall

Ozanam Hall is one of the residence halls on the Lincoln Park campus. Like most of the halls in Lincoln Park, it’s only a five to ten minute walk from other parts of campus. Typically we have around 3,000 students who live in campus housing. This particular building is suite-style, which means you and your roommate share a bathroom with another pair of suitemates on the other side of the bathroom.   Laundry is free in campus housing and each hall has its own laundry room for residents. Visit our Housing website to see all your options and find the residence hall that works for you.
